Why celebrate Pentecost?
To begin this welcome, let us start by saying why we celebrate Pentecost (also known as the Feast of Weeks or Shavuot in the Hebrew). Very simply, it is one of three main feasts that Yahuah requires all His people to celebrate on a yearly basis.
“Three times a year all your males shall appear before the LORD your God in the place which He chooses: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at the Feast of Weeks, and at the Feast of Tabernacles...” Deut. 16:16
Passover opens up our spiritual year with the celebration and remembrance of Yahusha’s work of salvation on the Cross; Pentecost provides the covenant power via His Holy Spirit, and the Feast of Tabernacles both celebrates the advent of our Saviour and looks forward to the final ingathering, soon to take place at His Second Coming.
Pentecost 2020 - ‘Becoming the Glorious Bride’
Pentecost this year focuses on how we become the ‘Glorious Bride’. Most Christians know that we are to be a ‘Bride of Christ’ - but not so many know how we can become the ‘Glorious’ Bride’.
This season we learnt the steps we are to take to become ‘glorious’ in Yahusha’s sight, in particular the wonderful things that Yahusha has gifted us with to reach this place. Now, following on from Passover, where we learnt about the inheritance bestowed to us by Yahusha, we look forward to the tangible evidence of that inheritance through the gift of His Holy Spirit. The work of the Holy Spirit in our lives is the way in which we are empowered to fully access our inheritance.
How we are celebrating
There are two parts to Pentecost 2020:
The first was a live service via WhatsApp audio Sat 30 May, 12:00 London-time.
The second part is a video presentation that you will find on this page on Sat 30 May, 15:00 London-time.
This video presentation is filled with much insight into what is promised to one who follows the path of Yahusha Messiah. It is about the exciting journey one would make from receiving and believing in Him at Passover, to receiving the empowering gift of His Holy Spirit at Pentecost.

Pentecost is the time when we enter into a covenant of marriage with Yahusha. He gives to us His Holy Spirit to lead and guide us into all truth. Through the power of His Spirit we are able fulfil all that He has called us to do and to be.
