Have you been baptised as the Bible instructs?

The Bible tells us in many places the need to be baptised in the name of the Saviour Yahusha Messiah.

Acts 2:38-41 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. … Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Acts 10:48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord...

Acts 19:5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Over the next few weeks we are providing a course on baptism to take you through what the Bible says about baptism. It’s open to anyone interested in learning more about baptism, wherever you are in the world.

Course outline

The course will run for 7 weeks as set out below, starting Sunday 12th July.

• Week 2 - Lesson 1 revision - (ONLINE)

• Week 3 - Lesson 2 - Effects of baptism (LIVE)

• Week 4 - Lesson 2 revision - (ONLINE)

• Week 5 - Lesson 3 - How is baptism done? (LIVE)

• Week 6 - Lesson 3 revision - (ONLINE)

• Week 7 - Lesson 4 - What’s expected of me? (LIVE)

Live sessions

Sessions with a teacher will be conducted over Zoom, together with a type of virtual blackboard (remember those from school?!) called Google Jamboard.

Online

Self-access sessions will be provided in Google Classroom and you’ll be able to do them in your own time, anytime during the week.

Other options

If you’re not based in the UK we will be opening up other dates and times to fit your time-zone better. You also have the option of using WhatsApp audio instead of Zoom for locations where video is difficult.
