Passover 2017 - Where the cry is 'Not guilty!'
Justification by grace - the bedrock of salvation
One of the most powerful forces that Yahuah has ever unleashed on mankind is 'justification by grace'. It is the bedrock of our salvation and restoration. The free and unmerited favour of Yahuah Elohim, - who alone is able to make us as though we had never sinned.
This Passover we unveil the depths of the miracle whereby Elohim deals with our sin, legally and completely so we can be declared innocent, no longer condemned: we are and set free from sin and death. It is a legal transaction entered into specifically at Passover when Yahusha Messiah declared, “It is finished” (John 19:30). It is for this reason that we celebrate the Feast.
Slate wiped clean
Imagine that you are standing before the judge knowing that you are guilty and will be sentenced to death. Then the judge not only pardons you and wipes your slate clean but he also gives you a senior position in his office. This is what Yahuah does for us. This is justification by grace – flowing from Yahuah’s love for us, fuelled by His heart’s desire to have us back in full covenant relationship with Him.
The gift of justification
The truth is that we don’t deserve to be justified, for as the Bible says, “all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God” (Romans 3:23). The real reward for our sin is the penalty of death. But because of his great love we are able to come and buy without money His precious gift of justification.
Yahuah sets before us a stark choice – life or death. That is life through belief in Yahusha Messiah who died at Passover precisely that we might live and not die. It is the call to life based on repentance and baptism.
Which will you choose?

The Feast of Unleavened Bread is a poignant reminder of the need to detach ourselves from the corruption found in the world. It is a primary time to contemplate whether our lives match Yahusha's purity and sacrifice. It begins our process of being set apart in order to worship and serve Him.
